Karen Gehrig
Karen Gehrig is a benefits professional with over 25 years of experience in corporate employee benefits. With nearly 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry she currently acts as the Benefits Director for US operations at Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
As part of the Total Rewards team, she takes a truly collaborative approach to designing and continually evolving benefit plans to meet the needs of a diverse workforce, aligning programs to support unique needs in competitive talent markets. She’s led numerous efforts to transform programs and drive strategy, creating alignment with business needs and supporting employees and their families.
Karen received her Bachelor’s degree in management from Dominican University in Orangeburg, NY and received the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. In her spare time Karen enjoys music, nature and motorcycling.
Brent Atkins
As Senior Vice President of Business Development at Progyny, Brent Atkins is responsible for leading sales in the eastern half of the US. Brent and his team cultivate relationships with large employers and consultants, transforming employer sponsored fertility and family building solutions. Prior to joining Progyny, Brent spent over two decades working for Aetna, UnitedHealthCare, and Empire BCBS in various sales, strategy, and management capacities. Brent is a graduate of Providence College in Rhode Island.
