Kristen Schmitt
Kristen started her career at MMA in 2013 as an Underwriter and Client Service Manager in our consulting practice. She quickly moved into an account management role in 2014 and served in that capacity until her transition to the ADL practice as of July 1, 2023. Kristen is a graduate of Temple University. She has participated in several vendor sponsored training programs focused on absence life and disability along with achieving a Certification in Absence Management from IFEBP. Her knowledge and relationships within the middle market consulting practice makes her a tremendous resource for this new focused approach to our middle market clients. Kristen is based in Conshohocken, PA.
Phil Lacy
Phil Lacy has worked in the employee benefits field for more than 40 years and currently serves as the Absence, Health & Productivity Practice Leader with MMA. He has pioneered innovative strategies that integrate health care, wellness, disease management and pharmacy plans with FMLA and STD/LTD programs to identify and position solutions to reduce the cost of health and business culture related absence and promote productivity. Phil is also a board member for The Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI). Prior to joining MMA, Phil served as the Eastern Region Practice Leader for absence and disability at Towers Perrin. For the first 25 years of his career, he served in senior management roles over underwriting, product management and marketing for a number of the top disability insurers in the country. Phil is a graduate of Missouri State University with a B.S. in Finance and resides in North Carolina
Jim Reardon
As Client Executive for MarshMMA East’s Absence, Disability & Life Practice (formerly Trion), Jim is responsible for managing all aspects of client relationship development in the large employer market. With posts in national accounts on the carrier side (Healthnet and UHC), benefit consulting and startups, Jim brings broad experience to his clients on life, disability and leave of absence / PTO strategy, as well as other employee benefit programs. Jim received his undergraduate degree from Williams College.
